River Elliot specialises in vintage bridal and evening dresses, and bridal attire. Ranging from the 1920s to 1970s, I can work with you to design an authentic vintage bridal style. I can source satins, lace and other fabrics that replicate the vintage era of your choice. In the past I have created dresses and outfits in a 1930s style, including bias cut dresses with glamorous court trains; retro 1960s A-line wedding dresses in bold knitted lace and silk jacquard materials; as well as traditional 1950s wedding dresses that feature the signature circle skirt, lined with layers of tulle.

Vintage Bridal

Whatever style you are looking for, I can help you design a dress or outfit from the era that you love. I’ll work closely with you to ensure your dress or outfit works with your hair, theme and bridal colour scheme using sketches and inspiration images, as well as sample swatches of fabric that are true to the era of your choice. By choosing my custom-made service you’ll get exactly the style and fit you want, and you’ll feel chic, authentic and full of confidence on your special day.

Bespoke Vintage Garments

If you’re not getting married, but love vintage clothes, I also reproduce garments from the 1920s to 1980s. Vintage sizes are very different to modern sizes, and it’s often difficult to find the clothes you love in your size. I can design and reproduce vintage and retro style dresses and other garments that will fit your size and shape.
