I met Nicki at a wedding fair in Suffolk as she was looking for a specific boho wedding style, which she was yet to find in a bridal shop. During our first consultation, Nicki knew she wanted bridal separates – a skirt and a Bardot-style cropped bridal top. Nicki fell in love with an embellished lace that I had in my collection of fabric swatches. At the base of the lace was a beautiful motif resembling an ornate heart outline and we decided to use this as the main feature of Nicki’s bridal top. The skirt was made from a luxurious double crepe silk in white, lined with silk habotai. I absolutely love these photos of Nicki on her wedding day in Essex, as they really capture her vision of a modern boho wedding style.
